Today, March 6th, is National Oreo Day! Hell yea, Oreos! The king of cookies that don’t come from Keebler Elves in a tree or The Girl Scouts Of America.
Way more than double-stuffed these days, Oreo is all about mixing things up crazy flavor combinations — There was pumpkin spice a few years ago. There’s red velvet. There’s Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. There’s limited edition runs, including key lime, root beer float, toasted coconut, s’mores, fruit punch, and — if you shop at Kroger — Swedish Fish Oreos.
The latest creation from the mad Oreo lab is an Easter-themed collaboration with Peeps, the marshmallow candy of champions. Except a couple people on Twitter are reporting that the pink Peep Oreos have a side effect that’s vaguely reminiscent of Burger King Black Whooper — It turns your poop pink.

My roommate ate a whole pack of oreo Peeps and left a pink stain in the toilet.

But hey — Don’t let the pink poo stop you for getting creative with Peep Oreos.
We made a #PeepsOreos milkshake and it was actually pretty good. https://t.co/vKbO2neLKu @PEEPSBrand @Oreo pic.twitter.com/fayvxOhzt6
