Woman Locked In Psych Ward For 8 Days, Fined $13k For Saying Obama Follows Her On Twitter…He Does

A New York woman’s ordeal began when police pulled her over and seized her car suspecting that she was stoned and culminated in her being locked in a psychiatric ward for eight days after being ’emotionally disturbed’. During her psychiatric evaluation Kam Brock mentioned that President Barack Obama follows her on Twitter, which he does, and it was at that point that she was deemed coo coo for Cocoa Puffs, and locked up in a straight jacket in the psych ward for 8 days. Upon release she also received a bill from the state for $13,637.10 to cover the costs of her ‘involuntary incarceration’.

Now she’s fighting back, and going after the city for her time spent in the crazy bin. She’s suing the city for reimbursement and undisclosed damages, which seems pretty reasonable when you take a look at what the city’s ‘master treatment plan’ was for her.

According to CounterCurrentNews her ‘master treatment plan’ and subsequent release was contingent on her denying that Barack Obama follows her on Twitter (which he does, he follows everyone including me):

It all started last year when Kam Brock tried to get her car out of a New York Police Department impound site. When she walked in to the Public Service Area 6 NYPD station, she was upset, but by no means, her lawyer explains, “emotionally disturbed,” as the police claim.

The NYPD had her forcibly committed for a 72-hour psychiatric evaluation that soon turned into an 8-day ordeal.

Now, Brock is fighting back and suing the NYPD and the hospital for falsely imprisoning her.

She recounts, that “next thing you know, the police held onto me, the doctor stuck me with a needle and I was knocked out. I woke up to them taking off my underwear and then went out again. I woke up the next day in a hospital robe.”

She explains that the whole “Obama” comment was only brought up to try to explain “the type of person I am. I’m a good person, a positive person. Obama follows positive people.”

But the hospital actually made her discharge contingent upon her stating that this was a lie and denying that Obama follows her on Twitter.

The “master treatment plan” says that she must “state that Obama is not following her on Twitter” in order to be released. Strangely, no one at the hospital even bothered to check the Twitter account in question, which would have easily confirmed her claim.

As someone living in NYC I’m 100% convinced that if I were to speak out against the NYC I’d end up in a straight jacket just like Kam Brock. It’s an agency without any oversight, they operate under whatever rules they choose at the time and there doesn’t ever seem to be any recourse outside of a fine here and a public admonishment there. I’m pretty confident that this lady will get paid for having been unfairly locked in a psychiatric ward for EIGHT DAYS for ABSOLUTELY NO reason, but will justice be served? Absolutely not. This same crap will just continue to happen.

But I think at the end of the day we’re not shifting enough blame to Barack HUSSEIN Obama here, who caused all of this trouble by following this poor woman (and myself) on Twitter. Thanks, Obama!
