Yesterday we brought you the sad, sad tale of how Sharon Osbourne had allegedly discovered that her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, was banging his young hairdresser, Michelle Pugh. Another day, another crumbling Hollywood marriage, although to be fair to the Osbournes this marriage has lasted 33 years, aka a lifetime in Hollywood years. Upon the story being broadcast across headlines everywhere, however, Ozzy has now reportedly gone missing.
“Missing” because he’s missing or “missing” because he’s afraid of Sharon’s wrath, I don’t know. But “missing” is still “missing” either way:
The Sun now reports that Ozzy’s gone missing – despite attempts by his childrenJack , Kelly and Aimee to contact him. Though he had checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel, it’s now believed that he’s checked out.
An insider told the paper: “Jack tried to get hold of Ozzy because he thinks he might talk some sense into him.
“He and his sister Kelly and Aimee are worried about him and are a bit shocked by what has gone on.
“But Sharon is in an unforgiving mood and does not want him in the house, so it’s a difficult position.”(via)
Both Sharon and Ozzy’s reps have declined to comment further on the situation at hand, however in recent years Sharon is said to have discovered that Ozzy had relapsed onto alcohol and drugs. “I would never have imagined our [30th] anniversary would be the start of one of the worst periods in our marriage,” she writes in her autobiography, Unbreakable, “I’d like to tell you he got me a vast bouquet and took me for a candlelit supper. But I wed Ozzy Osbourne.”
Wherever Ozzy is now, we hope he’s safe and sober.
