Patriotic AF Bro Firefighter Went Out Of His Way During A Raging Inferno To Rescue An American Flag

While the Supreme Court ruled in 1989 that it was perfectly legal to burn the American flag, that doesn’t mean you have to sit back and watch it happen.

Nick Ells is a captain in the Tempe Fire Department who went above and beyond the call of duty this week.

When responding to a fire at a recycling plant in Arizona, he saw that an American flag was about to go up in the blaze. So he went and rescued it.

The caption reads, “Amongst everything going on last night in the recycling plant fire, my captain Nick Ells saw that the American flag was about to be caught in the fire and decided to go in and get it.”

That is hoss.

Over 150 firefighters responded to the blaze at the Arizona Pacific Pulp and Paper.

No one was injured, not even the flag.
