The above video from Omron Automation & Safety asks if robots can make us happy. The way they suggest that robots can make us happy is by playing ping pong with us, in case we don’t have a friend.
Which, yea, sure, I get it, that would be nice, except why the fuck would you make your friendly robot look like this?
