Slobodanka Tosic, a former Playboy model, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison after being caught in a failed attempt to kill alleged mafia boss Djordje Zdrale. Crazy, right? Just keep reading, it gets better.
According to reports Tosic was part of a bizarre love triangle in which she lured Zdrale, a convicted murderer, into an ambush where his rivals tried to kill him.

The hit was masterminded by another Balkan gangland figure, Darko Elez, the court in Bosnia heard.
According to local media, Tosic was dating Elez at the time and agreed to act as bait to lure his crime rival into a trap
Tosic was one of 32 people targeted after Bosnian cops staged an undercover investigation codenamed ‘Operation Doll’, in which she was at the centre.
But wait, there’s more.
She was also reportedly linked to five murders and a several robberies worth over £4 million ($5,655,820 US).
As if that wasn’t weird enough, apparently Tosic was doing pretty well for herself and was pretty famous over there having once been crowned Miss Bosnia and appearing on the Serbian version of Survivor.

She carried out a scheme concocted by Elez in which Tosic asked Djordje Zdrale, a convicted murderer now serving a 20-year sentence, to drive her to a friend’s house where gunmen were waiting to execute him, according to prosecutors.
Investigators said she requested a ride to pick up some books she needed for college classes knowing that the mobster had fallen in love with her and would not refuse her. The gunmen opened fire on Zdrale, but he escaped unharmed, police said.
Despite the guilty verdict Tosic is still claiming her innocence, however…
Tosic said in a statement posted Wednesday to her Facebook page that anyone with some knowledge of the law “knows what’s behind these verdicts!” according to the social media site’s translation.
“We continue the fight with our heads held high!” she said. “And thanks to all who are with me!”
