Bruce Springsteen fought back against Ronald Reagan using his music, just like how Sting didn’t like George W. Bush using his song “Brand New Day” back in 2000. As we’re all more than well aware, politics are a divisive issue that are more than likely to leave people butthurt after a particularly rowdy debate, so it should come as no surprise that musicians generally aren’t happy when politicians they don’t endorse use their music.
