Principal Who Promised Strip Club Trips To Students For Good Grades Is Somehow Now In Trouble

I’ve heard of getting to go on a field trip as a reward for good grades, but apparently Principal Carlos Borrero’s offer to students of jaunts to strip clubs in exchange for better marks crossed the line. Go figure.

Borrero, the Principal at the High School for Community Leadership in Jamaica, New York, is now the subject of a civil lawsuit from a former teacher, who also claims that Borrero encouraged her “to wear provocative clothes in order to command attention from her charges,” according to the New York Post.

Stacey Long claims she refused to play ball and that she was eventually forced to resign as a literacy teacher, court papers state.

“This really caused a problem for me,” Long said. “I’ve been a teacher for a long time and this came out of nowhere.”

Long said she felt pressured to leave after her “refusals to respond to Borrero’s overtures, flirtations, and directives to dress and act in a provocative manner.”

Seems like I saw this very same situation play out in a movie once. Cool principal for a bunch of bad seeds dangles strip club trips and scores with the hot teacher who all the kids love because she dresses so sexily? No? That wasn’t a movie? Be right back. I have a screenplay to hash out.
