Danish professor and leading sexologist, Professor Christian Graugaard, has advocated for porn to be accepted in Danish classrooms, citing it could help teenagers become “conscientious and critical consumers”.

He’s also refreshingly stated a universal truth:

(Sex education classes) are boring and technical, where you roll a condom onto a cucumber.

A waste of a perfectly good cucumber, in my opinion. And let’s be honest, it would be more reflective of reality to roll the condom onto a tube of Chapstick. Right, guys? Guys? I was kidding. Kinda.

His intention is to teach pornography and the reality of sexual relationships to 8th and 9th graders, who according to a Nordic study, 99% of boys and 86% of girls in Scandinavia have already seen porn at that age. I believe at that age I was still whacking it to the bra section of my mom’s Macy’s catalog. Kids these days.

Graugaard continues his eloquent point-of-view:

Porn may actually offer a variety of both entertaining and educational properties. Porn can even be feminist and in some cases it can be part of a democratisation of sex and [it can] promote diversity. But it can also be excluding – of body types, gender and sexuality. We want our kids to have exciting and gratifying sex lives, so an open-minded, constructive dialogue is the best way to make sure that they are able to make meaningful decisions for themselves.”

I like what you’re putting down, Christian. But you show a bunch of 16 year old coeds hardcore porn in a classroom setting, you’re going to be scrubbing semen off the projector. But I’ll probably have to do the same with the back of my head because I’ll be sitting front and center. Just make sure you call on me when I raise my boner.
