Professor Who Predicted Trump’s Surprising Win Says He Will Be Impeached

Allan Lichtman, who is a professor at American University in Washington, D.C., has accurately forecasted every presidential election since 1984, including Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election. His successful prognosticating has given him the title of “Prediction Professor.” The historian and political soothsayer now has another prediction for Trump: he’ll be impeached.

The Prediction Professor believes that President-elect Trump will be impeached because of several factors.

“First of all, throughout his life he has played fast and loose with the law. He has run an illegal charity in New York state. He has made an illegal campaign contribution through that charity. He has used the charity to settle personal business debts. He faces a RICO lawsuit.”

However, these are all allegations that have not been proven in a court of law.

The President-elect also has several civil suits ongoing including one stemming from Trump University.

The professor also stated that the Republicans may turn on Trump.

“The Republicans may well prefer to have Mike Pence. Donald Trump is a loose cannon. He’s unpredictable. He’s uncontrollable. Republicans like control and order. Mike Pence is totally predictable, down-the-pipe Christian conservative Republican. Kind of an ideal president for Republicans.”

Trump has alienated politicians on both sides of the aisle by saying he wants term limits and will have a mission to “drain the swamp.”

“We’re going to put on term limits, which a lot of people aren’t happy about, but we’re putting on term limits,” Trump said in an interview with 60 Minutes. “We’re doing a lot of things to clean up the system.”
