People Were Asked To Rate Their Success On A Scale Of 1-10 — And Then They Went And Asked Their Families

Simple concept — people were asked to rate their success on a scale of one to ten. Ten is “I’m a world beater” and one being “I’m absolutely beaten.” Next, their loved ones were asked to rate the person on the same scale.

Here’s what we learned from the video. People are ridiculously tough on themselves. To the point we beat ourselves up for “not doing enough” even when we’re doing a hundred things at once. We also learned that loved ones don’t think we’re as big of a fuck up as we imagine, at least not with a camera in their faces.

Moral here — don’t be so hard on yourself and don’t be so hard on others.
