Thieves have been stealing the 420 mile marker sign on Interstate 70 east of Denver so often, the state transportation department changed it to 419.99. Amy Ford, a spokeswoman with the Colorado Department of Transportation, said “so far it’s working.”
Ford also says the department has had problems in the past with thieves stealing the 69 mile marker.
Damn perverts! Although a 68.99 in the sack does sound like fun.
