Seth MacFarlane Offers His Opinion On Why Hollywood Hates Trump, Trump Supporters Hammer Him On Twitter

Despite your political affiliation, I think I can speak for us all when I say that one positive thing about the election being over is that we no longer have to suffer through those commercials of celebrities babying us over who to vote for. I was going to vote for Trump until Susan Sarandon used her vast political intellect to instruct me otherwise. That sentence has never been said by anyone, ever.

These celebrities were largely mocked by the common folk for their pompousness and glaring disconnect to most issues outside their posh Hollywood bubble, especially after exactly zero of them followed through with moving to Canada after Trump secured the W.

But why do the vast majority of celebrities publicly hate Trump with the fire of 1,000 suns? Let a celebrity dissect their distain.

MacFarlane has been very vocal in his abhorrence to Trump. In its campaign to win an Emmy earlier this year, Family Guy skewered Trump in a poster that featured Peter Griffin with orange-tinted skin and a tagline that read: “As long as we’re voting for dumb loudmouths, can I get an Emmy?” Trump supporters went as far to petition that Family Guy be taken off the air for this.

Family Guy also spoofed the infamous ‘locker room talk’ fiasco.

Trump supporters came out in droves to shoot MacFarlane down.

Thanks for your opinion, Seth.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
