Sharpshooting Sniper Kills 5 ISIS Suicide Bombers And Only Needs 3 Bullets To Do So

This unbelievable feat by a sniper sounds like something from Call of Duty or Battlefield, but it was in real life where there are actual stakes at hand and there was seemingly insurmountable pressure.

A veteran of Special Air Service (SAS), the special forces unit of the British Army, was monitoring an ISIS bomb factory near Mosul, Iraq when out walked five dubious characters. They were all leaving the building wearing heavy coats in hot weather – a sign that they were concealing explosive vests.

The sharpshooting sniper pulled the trigger and the first bullet hit a jihadist in the chest, sparking an explosion that killed the suicide bomber and two Islamic State guards. Quickly confirming his suspicions that they were about to carry out a deadly suicide bombing mission. From a half of a mile away the extraordinary marksman hit the fourth terrorist with a headshot. The fifth Daesh operative attempted to scamper back into the bomb factory, but he too was gunned down by the sniper.

A British Army source told Expresss details on the incredible operation:

“This was a classic SAS mission. The unit had been operating in the area for several weeks, mainly working as spotters for air strikes and gathering intelligence. About three weeks ago the intelligence guys got information that a bomb factory had been set up in a nearby village.

The unit was sent in to see if they could identify the house and the bombers. There were too many civilian homes nearby and children were often around so an airstrike was out of the question.

With just three well-aimed shots that single team has probably saved the lives of hundreds of innocent people.”

What a marksman to prevent those future acts of terror that would have killed innocent Iraqi citizens.
