Steven Avery Penned A Handwritten Letter To His Supporters From Jail And His Cursive Is Better Than Yours

In a hand-written note posted to Twitter on Friday by his new high-profile attorney, Kathleen Zellner, Steven Avery’s message is consistent with everything he’s said since the 2005 brutal slaying of 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach: he’s not the killer.

“To my supporters: I want every forensics test possible because I am innocent.”

As we know all too well, Steven Avery’s opinion on whether or not he’s innocent holds about as much weight as Honey Boo Boo giving work out tips.

That’s why Avery supporters must put their hope in his new fancy pants Chicago lawyer Kathleen Zellner. Zellner specializes in overturning wrongful convictions, racking up 17 in total, mostly pro-bono cases. She’s even obtained the release of a death row inmate after convincing the real murderer to confess to the murder.

Zellner has already went on a Twitter crusade dismantling the case against Steven Avery, and on Friday appeared on Dateline NBC to discuss her client’s case in regards to the letter he penned from prison.

“Generally, since 2007, there have been significant advances in forensic testing,” Zellner told Dateline’s Andrea Canning. “Am I going to tell you exactly what it is? I am not. But it’s been a long time. There was a lot of evidence that wasn’t tested.”

Zellner’s not fucking around and I’m all about it.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
