A Woman Is Suing A Strip Club For $100,000 After A Kick To The Head From A Dancer Left Her ‘Lame And Disabled’

Every dude knows that stripper heels are some next level shit. Platforms combined with spiked stilettos, they make each woman like four extra feet taller.

That’s why, when you take a seat in front of the stage, you gotta keep your head on a swivel. Watch for those extra inches of shoes that go flying around.

But a woman who attended Headlights Gentleman’s Club two years ago, in Portsmouth, Virginia, was unaware of that situation, and subsequently got whopped in the brain by a dancer named Envy. Now she’s suing. Via Courthouse News:

In a complaint filed the Portsmouth City Circuit Court, Carey Monroe says she visited the Headlights Gentleman’s Club in the city on Oct. 4, 2014, and was seated directly next to the stage.

Shortly afterwards, the defendant dancer, who is identified as Jane Doe in the complaint, but is believed to go by the stage name “Envy,” began to perform.

At the time, Monroe says, the operators of the club “should have known that the patrons, including the plaintiff, were seated too close to the stage and were in danger of being injured by the dancers in the performance of their routines.”

Monroe says during Envy’s performance, the dancer thrust out one of her legs, kicking her in the head with the heel of her shoe.

Monroe claims that since the incident, she’s become “sick, sore, lame and disabled,” and can no longer attend “to her lawful affairs.”

I think that’s on her for not being aware of her surroundings. Monroe is seeking $100,000 in damages. Any Bro, though, would have just called that a good time.
