Vinny Capaldo-Smith just won the award for “Most Creative Marriage Proposal of the Week.” Vinny, who is a tattooist, used what he knows best to propose to his girlfriend – a tattoo. This suprise marriage proposal came out of nowhere for his girlfriend Brooke Wodark, who thought she was at the tattoo shop to give her boyfriend a new tattoo. She not only gave him a new tattoo, but also became his fiancé.
Vinny, from Tribe Tattoo in Denver, got a secret tattoo on his leg. He told Brooke that he wanted her to tattoo him. “Vinny had always said he wanted me to tattoo him. Today he sprung it on me and told me it was the day,” Wodark wrote on her Facebook. She’s about to tattoo a heart on his ankle, but Vinny reveals his brand new tattoo on his thigh that she has no idea about – a guy and a girl holding a balloon that says “love,” with the question, “Will you marry me?” along with yes/no checkboxes below. After getting emotional, she checked the “yes” box with a red “x.”
