See Tesla’s Self-Driving Car Save The Human In It From A Head-On Collision, Realize The Machines Have Arrived

Who knows when our highways will be completely and solely populated by robot cars, but it will be some time in the next two decades, and once that happens, we’ll all look back on the time human were allowed to operate motorized death vehicles as one of the most pointlessly dumb phases in our history.

Self-driving cars are already better and smarter and safer. Because they aren’t humans. Take this video, where an idiot in Seattle skids onto the wrong side of the highway. A dude driving his robot Tesla doesn’t even have to react to the incoming projectile, because his car does, braking for him.

Jon Hall, who was in the Tesla, said “I did not touch the brake. Car did all the work.”

The machines, man. They are here.
