This Alarm Clock That Makes Your Coffee Is The Only Alarm Clock I Want To Associate With

Designer Joshua Renouf, has unveiled a genius resolution to the biggest struggle of my day: the eight steps between my bed and the Keurig machine.

Introducing the Barisieur: an alarm clock and a coffee brewer. Or in other words, a combination of your worst enemy and your best friend.

From Joshua Renouf’s website:

“The Barisieur eases the user into the day with the subtle movement of stainless steel ballbearings that boil the water through induction heating, accompanied by the smell of freshly brewed coffee. It encourages a ritual before going to sleep, signaling to the body and mind that it’s time to unwind and relax. Living slow even when times are fast.”

Much like a Keurig machine (so last year), the user can pre-select what time he wants the alarm clock to start brewing his coffee. The brewer also has a slot for a vial of cream and a drawer for storing unused coffee and sugar.

The Barisieur is set to be released in 2015 and the estimated cost is between $250-$400.

If nothing else, hitting the Snooze button is a lot less inciting when it results in third degree burns.
