Kevlar vests are resilient and all, and as you can see, they can even take a bullet at point blank range, but any time I see someone wearing a vest for protection the only thing I could think about is this scene from Dumb and Dumber.
Harry: Yeah, she grabbed down at the lobby, explained what was up, then they slapped this bullet proof vest on me and gave me a gun.
Lloyd: But what if he shot you in the face?
Harry: [to detective] What if he shot me in the face?
Beth: That’s a risk we were willing to take.
Or what if he shot you in the arm, the leg, the dick hole and then the face? Seems like a rough way to die if you ask me. Right up there with burning to death or a shark attack. The only solution for total safety is Kevlar skin replacement surgery. Or bones laced with Adamantium.
