Earlier today it was announced that New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of first degree murder, meaning that he was automatically sentenced to life in prison without parole. Hernandez originally plead “not guilty” to killing Odin Lloyd, however the jury only took 12 days to return a “guilty” verdict. To put that into perspective, it takes at least 14 days for anything I order online to reach my house because mail is stupid. The jury literally took less time to return a verdict than it did for me to get “The Last of Us” in the mail from Amazon, and I even paid $7.99 for shipping. How depressing.
But you know what isn’t depressing? These reactions people had on Twitter to Hernandez’s verdict.

I don’t care one way or another what Hernandez does with his time in prison, but from the looks of it he may as well channel his inner Adam Sandler and start living out the plot of The Longest Yard. It’s not like he’s got anything better to do for the rest of his life.
