An 18-wheeler transport semi truck that had stalled on the train tracks in in Mer Rouge, Louisiana was obliterated by a speeding train causing the train to derail and the evacuation of nearby homes over the weekend. Amazingly this whole thing was caught on video by a couple sitting in their vehicle less than a block away from the accident.
According to KNOE there were somehow no fatalities though there have been three over the years at this very same railroad crossing.
The fuel leak the man in the video refers to is argon gas which had to be cleaned up by Louisiana hazmat and was the cause of homes being evacuated.
