Harnaam Kaur is 23 years old and suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition which causes excessive hair growth. She first noticed the facial hair around her 16th birthday and tried bleaching, shaving and waxing it away; doing basically anything she could to get rid of it. Until, one day, she decided to accept who she was, what her body gave her and started rocking a beard. Like a boss. Look at that thing. It’s better than any of us could grow.
She says she’s endured all manners of abuse, for something she has no control over whatsoever. Fucked up. So watch her powerful video below and remember, we are all different. And wonderful.
