Ever since the shocking suicide of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez took place all sorts of rumors and speculation have been running rampant.

From reports that Hernandez drew an Illuminati symbol in his own blood before hanging himself to another report that he wrote a Bible verse on his forehead, there has been no shortage of wild gossip to be had.

One of the biggest bombshell reports was that Hernandez was bisexual and had a male lover both inside the prison as prior to being incarcerated. Newsweek even went so far as to say that Hernandez being bisexual may have led to the murder of Odin Lloyd.

Multiple media outlets also claimed that of the three notes found in Hernandez’s cell following his suicide one of them was to a gay lover.

DailyMail.com exclusively reported last week that Hernandez, 27, who was found dead hanging from a bed sheet in his cell early on Wednesday morning last week, left three suicide notes.

One was addressed to his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, the second to their four-year-old daughter Avielle and the third to a prisoner, who high level prison sources described as his prison lover.

CBS’s Boston affiliate also reported that Hernandez gave his prison lover’s family a $50,000 watch before committing suicide.

Now, Hernandez’s attorney Jose Baez has spoken out about the letters and says the reports about the letters are completely false. Shocker.

Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, tells TMZ Sports, “Rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false. These are malicious leaks used to tarnish somebody who is dead.”

The D.A. announced Thursday 3 letters were next to Hernandez’s Bible, and that’s when the rumors began.

Personally, I thought it was a little fishy that all of these rumors were suddenly coming to light now that Hernandez was no longer around to defend himself. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t true, but the curious timing of these revelations does tend to cast a little doubt on all of the allegations.

I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned as I am sure this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing about all of this.
