Guys, if you don’t know, the NFL record for the longest made field goal is 64 yards. You want to know what Alabama recruit Eddy Pineiro just did to that record? He fucked it in the ass with a vengeance, as he just drilled a 77-yarder during practice.
Sure, there weren’t 300-pound lineman coming at him to try and block the thing, but still, this is impressive as all hell—especially when considering that the trees behind the goal posts appeared to be still, so ol’ boy didn’t get any help from any breeze.
After that whole Iron Bowl debacle from a couple years ago when Bama’s then kicker came up short, leave it to Lord Saban to make sure that never happens again.
