Watch The Scary Moment A Fan Just Starts Punching The Crap Out Of Alberto Del Rio

It looks like one Alberto Del Rio fan took the US Championship Open Challenge a little too seriously.

Security in and around WWE events is much tighter these days because of incidents over the past few months involving fans getting a little too close to the action. From fans walking the ramp to prank shows storming the ring, the federation is taking extreme measures to prevent civilians from getting involved with the show.

Other feds, however, don’t have as much heavy security as the WWE, as witnessed this past weekend at a World Wrestling Council show in Puerto Rico. WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio was the victim of a sneak attack from a ringside fan. It’s probably the most exciting thing Del Rio has been involved in this year. The guy might actually be an Alberto Del Rio fan, just really upset at the champ’s current allegiance with former Mexican-hater (in storylines) Zeb Colter.

Del Rio begins to fight back and security starts to swarm. Del Rio’s opponent comes to his aid before turning his attack back on Del Rio and pulling him to safety while pretending to beat the piss out of the US champ. The Alberto Del Rio fan is then escorted out of the arena and probably kicked into the streets like a desperado. I’m guessing. It just seems more fun to think of all of Mexico as the outside of an old saloon.
