This is What Aroldis Chapman’s Head Looks Like Now

Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman took a line drive to his head Wednesday during a spring training game. He had surgery yesterday to repair a broken bone above his eye and a titanium plate was inserted. This photo right here shows the intense nature of the procedure.

Despite looking like his face has been stitched together like a baseball, Chapman is expected to be able to resume pitching in game conditions within six weeks.
