This series is billed as Bad British Commentary, but it’s really superior to anything that we have in this country. Their most recent acquisition is a VHS tape of last year’s Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.
While the announcer is a little spotty on the rules, his enthusiasm and kindness toward Canadians is infectious. Chicago Blackhawks fans will delight in happier times. Boston Bruins fans will just continue to be mad about life. Actual British people will say “hey, mate, I l know hockey” in a terrible Cockney accent. Or so I assume.
In short: everyone will enjoy it.
