In case you missed it somehow, after dismantling Ohio State 31 to 16 in Columbus, Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield proceeded to rub salt in Buckeye Nation’s wounds by running on to the field and planting an OU flag right on top of the Ohio State logo in the middle of the stadium.

Yes, it was epic and firmly entrenched Mayfield as a player that Sooners fans will never, ever forget.

Here it is again…

Awesome, right? Yeah, well, someone at the University of Oklahoma must not have liked it because on Monday Mayfield issued a public apology, saying he “didn’t mean for it to be disrespectful” and “got caught up in an emotional win.”

Whatever, Baker. We feel you and know that the truth is that you would probably do it again.

By the way, how’s your old lady been treating you?
