Last month, former Baylor football player Shawn Oakman, was arrested and charged with sexual assault following an incident that allegedly took place with a 19-year-old female student off on April 3rd.
On Thursday, Baylor head coach Art Briles was fired by the university after a report by Pepper Hamilton LLP revealed that the the football program attempted to cover up sexual assault allegations made against their players.
After Briles was fired, Oakman took to Twitter to support his former coach.
Twitter went on to blast Oakman for the tweets,
It also worth noting that Oakman was also accused of domestic violence back in 2013 but according to Rivals, com reporter Alex Dunlap the university did nothing about it.
Source who tipped me off to the new Oakman incident says BU knew and did nothing. Review of emails will show proof per source #BaylorScandal
