For the second time in 2017, former NBA star Ben Gordon, who played 11 seasons with the Bulls, Pistons, Bobcats and Magic, has found himself arrested by police. This time Gordon was charged with felony robbery in Los Angeles at an apartment complex where he used to live.

Gordon, who attempted a comeback in January of 2017 when he played for the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League, was also arrested in L.A. in June of this year for pulling fire alarms at his apartment complex.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Gordon once again ran into trouble with the law, allegedly assaulting a man Monday afternoon over a security deposit…

Law enforcement sources tell us … the 34-year-old went to the apartment complex where he used to live in an effort to get his security deposit back. We’re told there was a dispute about the money and Gordon allegedly put hands on the guy and threatened him.

We’re told the man gave Gordon at least some of the money back — mostly because he was scared — and Gordon left. The man called police moments later.

But get this … after cops arrived to the building, Ben RETURNED to demand the REST of his security deposit (a couple thousand dollars). Instead, cops arrested him on the spot for felony robbery.

He was hauled to a nearby station where he was booked and later released on $50,000 bail.

This latest arrest comes just a month after the 34-year-old was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation after he reportedly locked a woman inside a sports rehab facility he owns and brandished a knife until police could free her and take Gordon into custody.

Gordon also made a disturbing, unhinged video prior to that event daring some people he felt had wronged him to “pull up” at his gym.

Just three days ago, Gordon also posted this cryptic message on his Instagram account…

Gordon, who was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team and was NBA Sixth Man of the Year back in 2005, last played in the NBA in 2015 for the Orlando Magic when he averaged 6.2 points per game in 56 contests. Gordon was also an NCAA champion in 2004 while attending UConn and reportedly made over $84 million during his NBA career.
