Throughout the playoffs, many Patriots fans felt NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was avoiding going to Boston when he didn’t visit Gillette Stadium instead opting to go to two Falcons playoff games.
On Wednesday, Boston Globe writer Dan Shaughnessy asked Goodell during his pre-Super Bowl press conference if he was indeed ducking the Patriots and if he would go to Foxborough if invited.
Goodell claims he is not avoiding Foxborough and that the situation with the Patriots is not awkward
