Daniel Tosh might be a funny ass dude who can find humor in almost anything, but the comedian did something that was bro as hell after winning a bet he put on the New England Patriots before last night’s Thursday Night Football game against Tosh’s favorite NFL squad, the Miami Dolphins.
Placing a double-or-nothing bet on the Pats to cover the first half spread, Tosh dropped $25,000 on New England to help raise money for his good buddy Andy Ritchie, a fellow comedian who was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year.
couldve been a little more subtle miami, but thx for winning my bet #forandy. now quit f’ing around in the 2nd half! pic.twitter.com/lXbRrdkeGU

After setting up a GoFundMe page that has raised over $45,000 to help cover the $250,000 cost of surgery for Andy, Tosh decided that he would go all-in and do what any buddy would do for some quick cash; gamble in hopes of doubling his profit—and that’s exactly what happened.
The $25,000 that Tosh used was from an auction that sold off items from his Comedy Central show, Tosh.0, risking it all on the defending Super Bowl champs.
New England was a safe bet for Tosh, who took a 19-0 lead into halftime, which was well over the 3.5-point spread, helping him scoop some serious cash for Andy Ritchie’s cause. Well done, sir.
