The Cleveland Browns’ Laughable Brock Osweiler Hype Video Got Dragged On Twitter

Poor Brock Osweiler. I never thought I’d say that about someone who signed a four-year, $72 million contract, but I sympathize for anyone who goes to northern Ohio for their careers to die.

Browns Coach Hue Jackson said Monday that Osweiler will start Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. The news comes just a week after rookie DeShone Kizer was said to be leading the QB battle and “it’s not even close,” reported a source. It’s ironic Osweiler is the starting man for week 1 of the preseason considering the only reason the Browns accepted him in a trade from the Houston Texans in March was solely so they could acquire a second-round pick.

The Browns seemed to be hyped about their new QB, evident in this rock-themed “hype” video that features the 6’7” Arizona State alum throwing routine screen passes in slow motion.

Twitter was, well, Twitter.

Best of luck to the residents of Cleveland this season.
