During the first round of the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village on Thursday, Bubba Watson was paired with his good friend Rickie Fowler – both part of the “Golf Boys” collective in their off-time from the course.
Basically, they’re bros. And golf course etiquette dictates that bros don’t take kindly to other, less good at golf, watching-from-the-gallery bros making snaky remarks when a fellow bro misses a par putt such as Fowler did on No. 9 today.
Something was immediately said by a spectator directed at Fowler, and Bubba didn’t like it one bit. Video of the encounter comes from the dudes over at The Big Lead (crank the volume).
