With four minutes left in the game and down only six points Cam Newton had the ball stripped from him by Von Miller and the Broncos recovered. The game was pretty much over after that.
During the play, Newton had a chance to recover the football but for whatever reason didn’t dive for it.
Newton was subsequently ripped by Phil Simms for not diving for the ball.
If you’re the MVP of the league you can’t be making business decision. You have to dive in there even if you’re hurting.
