In Happier Woods Family News, Tiger’s Niece Cheyenne Just Made The LPGA US Open A Must-Watch

Tiger Woods may be having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week, but at least someone in his family is doing well. And that someone would be his awesome niece and fellow professional golfer Cheyenne Woods.

You may remember seeing Cheyenne before on Golf Magazine’s 2017 “Most Beautiful Women In Golf” list. And if not, well, let’s get you up to speed on the 26-year-old LPGA star (hopefully) in the making.

Cheyenne is the daughter of Susan and Earl Woods, Jr., who is Tiger Woods’ half-brother. Just like Tiger, Earl Woods was also her very first golf coach. She won back-to-back Arizona State Championships in high school and won the ACC championship in 2011 while playing for Wake Forest. Cheyenne also has two professional wins, but none on the LPGA Tour so far.

Oh yeah, she also just qualified for the 2017 LPGA US Open (for the second time), as I may have mentioned so we’ll at least have one member of the Woods family to root for this summer.

“12 hours and 36 holes later… We did it!! US Women’s Open bound! #golfmarathon #uswomensopen #medalist,” Cheyenne captioned her happy photo on Tuesday.

Looks like we’ll have to mark the week of July 10th through the 16th on our calendars now, huh?

Yes, I do believe that we will.
