Chicago Blackhawks’ Michal Rozsival Punched a Referee in the Face

Tensions between the Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche ran high last night and an innocent referee paid the price.

Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival tried to sock Colorado’s Maxime Talbot, but connected with linesman Andy McElman instead.

That’s not some limp-wristed jab either. The punch has some mustard on it, as McElman can attest to — as soon as he collects all his teeth off the ice.

Because hockey is awesome, Rozsival was not assessed a penalty for his errant violence. Hope he apologized at least.
