Here we get to see crazy fishermen doing what crazy fishermen do…go crazy for fish. This is an annual festival held in the Yunnan Province of China and it is meant to kick off the Dai New Year. In order to secure good luck, these crazy people go crashing into the water with nets to try and catch fish as fast as possible:
According to Grind TV, this annual festival kicks off at noon and thousands upon thousands of dudes plow into the water with baskets and nets to try and scoop up a fish.
Watching this complete mayhem unfold I can’t help but wonder just what in the fuck the fish are thinking. One moment you’re swimming along in an idyllic river, minding your own business. The next second there are tens of thousands of splashes around you, the world is flipped upside down, and it’s the fish version of D-Day level of mayhem.
