Chris Paul and Aaron Rodgers took part in the latest edition of “Dude Perfect” and let’s just set the tone right off the bat. Rodgers, in what he calls the “easy opener,” tosses a football from well beyond half-court and gets nothin’ but net.
Then there’s Chris Paul, who appropriately follows with the “elevated coffin corner” shot which is performed with the ease of a lay-up rather than a one-handed toss from 300 feet out. Standard procedure.
My personal favorite, though, comes at the 1:07 mark where Rodgers throws an absolute dart and subsequently obliterates a target attached to a dude’s head, who happens to be bouncing around on a god damn pogo stick.
But then… well, then Rodgers throws a hail mary into a basketball hoop attached to the front of a moving golf cart at the 3:45 mark. For fuck’s sake.
The whole video is pretty outstanding, save for when Aaron Rodgers finishes the lyrics to a Taylor Swift song: “I don’t know about you but I’m feeling… 22.”
Yup, Olivia’s got him good.
