Snipe City, population: Claude Giroux and Bobby Ryan!!!
Just two superb hockey players hanging out on an abandoned rink in Ottawa, showcasing their National Hockey League caliber snipes, and making me wish the upcoming 2016 NHL season was starting tonight. *Deep breath* But it’s only thirteen days away. Less than two weeks until we can witness snipes like this every evening, and thank God for that.
Giroux and Ryan are two of the NHL’s most talented when it comes to the laser show department, and it’s cool to see the Ottawa Senator take on the Flyers captain on his home-away-from-home turf. Ironically enough, Ryan grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ, just a short distance from the Philadelphia Flyers practice facility where Giroux, the Ottawa-native, gets in his daily skates.
If Flyers fans get their way in the future, Philadelphia may very well make a move to acquire the young Ryan via trade. The thought of these two puck wizards on the ice together is mind-numbing to any hockey fan for sure.
