Universal Pictures Entertainment recently announced that they will be releasing a new film about the life of the man, the myth, the UFC legend, Conor McGregor entitled Notorious. Which seems hard to believe because where on Earth are they going to find enough material to make a whole documentary about this man? Oh yeah, his whole damn life is a freaking movie.
McGregor had previously teased the creation of the film a week ago on his Instagram account…
“Here is another power move for you to get excited about. Happy Monday,” McGregor captioned the video.
Then on Friday, Universal dropped this little nugget on social media…
“Coming Soon – The official story of the unstoppable rise of @thenotoriousMMA Conor McGregor. Happy birthday to the champ champ!” it read.
As far as what really may appear in the film, we do not know, but as McGregor said during the London tour stop for his fight with Floyd Mayweather…
“Four years ago, I fought in London at a place called the HMV Forum, in front of about five hundred people. Four years ago. Now here I am six weeks out, about to quadruple my net worth with half a fight. I’m in shock every single day I wake up. Half a fight, I get to quadruple my net worth for half a fucking fight. Sign me up.”
So yeah, I’m guessing there will be more than enough very cool and inspirational material to put together a film about the man.
