Watch Darko Milicic, The Former No. 2 Pick In The NBA Draft, Chug A Beer With No Hands And Officially Win Retirement

Darko Milicic was the number two pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 2003 NBA Draft, chosen before household names like Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony. He retired from basketball this past season to take on a new challenge: kickboxing and chugging beers with no hands.

The seven-footer lost his first kickboxing match back in December after suffering a nasty gash on his shin, deeming the match over. Here’s the footage.

But Darko didn’t let the L go to his head, he left that up to the bottle of brew he chugged with no hands, then kind of spit up like a newborn. You can also see the faded Milicic feeding his tattoo some beer, because very few of us make good decisions when we’re blacked out.

Chugging brews with his shirt off while a room full of Serbians cheer him on. This dude is winning retirement, if nothing else.

Just try to keep it all in your mouth next time, rookie.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
