DeSean Jackson On Chip Kelly: ‘Bad Karma Comes Back On You’, Which Is Funny Because DeSean Jackson Does A Lot Of Dumb Stuff

DeSean Jackson was released by the Eagles in classic controversial fashion nearly two years ago after rumors of his off the field “connections” and “activities” began to swirl, which in non-vague terminology means they thought he had TIES WITH GANGS. And that turned out to be correct, and remains true, by Jackson’s own admission.

Still, despite that being the case, there’s no love lost there. And why would there be? With Jackson now preparing for a playoff game while Chip Kelly weighs his options, what better time to take some shots?

“I’m a firm believer that bad karma comes back on you. When you ruin a team like that, you do things to peoples’ families, you release people, you trade people, you get rid of good players who build something with the community, with the fans, with the kids—to have a guy come in and change up the team like that, I just believe in karma.”

That’s pretty rich coming from DeSean Jackson, a guy with a well-documented reputation for being a selfish, royal pain in the ass, admitted ties to gangs, and at times, a completely asinine, glory boy approach on the field. So it’s kind of difficult to picture a “bad karma tutorial” coming from the guy who so frequently wears the figurative clown nose.

The bookends of this highlight kind of says it all.

That’s some top shelf ass-hattery right there. So yeah, speaking from a grand ivory tower on how one reaps what they sew should really be dead last on DeSean Jackson’s to-do list.
