Cincinnati Bengals Devon Still’s 5-year-old daughter Leah has been battling with cancer on and off for over a year. Leah;s cancerwent into remission in March but has been going through various treatments to get her immune system back to normal
Tonight, Leah was honored with the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award but she wasn’t able to make it as she suffered a setback during her recovery. Instead the Bengals defensive tackle represented his daughter on the stage and gave an extremely powerful and emotional speech that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.

In a year in which the NFL has been plagued with negative stories, more uplifting stories like that of Leah and Devon Still are needed.
