When I was a youngster I wanted to be an NBA player. That was my life’s goal. I held onto that dream for a little too long, considering I never had the physical tools to compete on a competitive level (THANKS, DAD) and when I discovered alcohol, that dream turned to a fantasy real quick. Alcohol was a defense I could never score on.
But my passion for the game remains, and anything NBA related, I take very seriously. And sprinkle an opportunity to get rich on top of that, I go extra hard. How hard?

So when I was informed that DraftKings is hosting a contest for the debut of the NBA season that will shell out $10,000 for the first place winner and guaranteed money for the top 7,500 scores, I threw on my old letterman jacket and geared up for a victory.
DraftKings had us poor bloggers in mind when they made the contest absolutely FREE to enter for new users, and just $3 for returning DraftKings players.
The contest details are as follows:
- Salary Cap Drafting: Each GM will be given $50,000 to select 8 spots
- Roster format: 1 PG, 1 SG, 1 SF, 1 PF, 1 C, 1 G, 1 F and 1 Util
