Draymond Green May Have Shaded Klay Thompson After Not Congratulating The Cavs After NBA Finals

After the Cleveland Cavs snatched an NBA title from the hands of the Golden State Warriors the other night by becoming the first team in league history to overcome a 3-1 series deficit to win, plenty of Dubs players were upset they let a second-straight championship slip away.

And while the entire Golden State franchise was upset, forward Draymond Green made sure he tracked down Cavs players, even seen hugging LeBron James on TV immediately after to congratulate him.

One of those Warriors players who wasn’t seen shaking hands, though? Klay Thompson, as he bolted to the locker room immediately after the loss. That didn’t seem to sit well with the emotional Green, saying this to The Undefeated:

“I just knew that going to the locker room after the game wasn’t right. That’s what a loser does. I’m not a loser. They earned it. They took it from us. It’s right to tell them congratulations. I made sure I got to everybody. The coaching staff. The players. Security guys. Everybody. They earned it. They never quit. I just wanted to make sure I got to everybody.”

It should be known that Dray never mentioned Klay by name there, but, c’mon, that’s some shade towards his fellow All-Star’s way, right?
