From Mike Dunleavy to JJ Redick to Greg Paulus to Jon Scheyer to Grayson Allen–Duke seems to just reload players that look like they belong in one of those 80s haircut books you find in the barbershop. Another thing they have in common is that they can all hoop. Grayson Allen, Duke’s 6’5” Junior is one of the best guards in the country. The Jacksonville-native is averaging 17.7 ppg for the 10-1 Blue Devils and showed last night that the boy can bounce. Allen scored two of his game-high 34 points in Duke’s win over UNLV on an emphatic dunk that shattered all the stereotypes Larry Bird worked so hard to cement. Thank you for taking one giant step for us white dudes with a 4” vertical, Grayson.
