Dwight Howard Played Pickup With College Kids And Got Clowned On

Over his 13 year NBA career, Dwight Howard has garnered the reputation of backing down and being soft. Despite being a 5-time All-NBA First Team, an 8-time NBA All-Star, and setting several franchise and league records, his proclivity to smile and shrug when things get tough has rubbed a lot of NBA fans the wrong way.

It also doesn’t help his cause seeing as he’s 6’11”, 265 pounds, and are built like no other athlete in recent memory.

Well, ‘Superman’ didn’t make an All-Star team this year, so instead he headed down to the Aztec Rec Center at San Diego State University to ball with some randos. You may have expected Dwight to dominate the non-professional basketball players, but this video tells a whole different story.

Rumor has it Dwight was picked last in the next game of pickup. I have no evidence of that but I choose to believe it’s true.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
