I’m not entirely sure how much time Pirates kicker Davis Plowman — that name again is Mr. Plowman — has spent perfecting this trick, but it’s all been worth it. An assist must go to his teammate who set him up with a perfect spinning toss.
The downside of showing off this skill, however, is the inevitable backlash that will come if he misses a chip shot during an actual game.
Also, someone needs to develop a television series about a blind placekicker trying to make it in the NFL. I’d watch the hell out of that program.
